Your Responsibilities:

To provide medical services for the employer as per the duty roster

To provide stewardship of available health resources and oversee the management of the patient’s wellbeing and safety, including, but not exclusive to, informed consent, medication reconciliation, appropriate follow-up of investigations and checking the age/gender appropriate screening status of individuals through prompt and optimal management and tracking of incoming reports

To maintain liaison and communication with patient’s GP regarding patient management

To offer input into research projects investigating services offered or to be offered at the centre
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year work experience

Advanced clinical knowledge
-
Minimum of 4 years’ experience post-graduation Experience in Emergency Department, in a General Practice and/or an Urgent Care Clinic

Registration with the NZ Medical Council Legally entitled to work in NZ

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent English written and communication skills
