Susanna Dyson - Candidate Manager, UK

Susanna joined the team as Candidate Manager in 2015, fresh off the boat from Auckland, New Zealand. She works closely with our candidates in the United Kingdom, ensuring that the process of moving to New Zealand is as stress free as possible. Susanna often attends emigration expos and seminars and assists in the day to day operations of our business.  Her attention to detail and willing nature make her an outstanding contributor to the administrative and organisational needs of the company.

Susanna grew up on the beautiful North Shore in Auckland City and kick started her career in Recruitment and Marketing in 2012 after graduating from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and Advertising. Susanna is a big believer in travel and new experiences hence why working for a company who encourages exactly that was an obvious choice.


Rachel Beattie - Candidate Manager, UK

Rachel joined the team as Candidate Manager in October 2016 and has been living in London since 2013. Rachel grew up in Dunedin but spent time in Christchurch before making the move to the United Kingdom. She was living in Christchurch when the February 2011 earthquake struck, so she knows first-hand the work that needs to be completed and the need for skilled workers in Christchurch and the rest of New Zealand. 
On a day to day basis, Rachel works closely with our candidates in the United Kingdom, ensuring that any questions they may have are answered. You can also meet Rachel at various expos and seminar throughout the year. Before joining the team, Rachel was working as a Business Development Manager and she also comes from a Customer Service background.


WALT WILSON - GENERAL MANAGER, NZ

Based in Christchurch New Zealand, Walt – NZSID’s General Manager has a passion for recruitment and enjoys the extended challenges and stories created through successful International recruitment.

Thriving on a ‘’solution orientated’’ approach to his candidates and clients, Walt has managed several national projects across New Zealand that supported over 200 jobs and has managed overseas recruitment campaigns that employed over 150 migrant workers within the construction industry.

Together with his NZSID team Walt is motivated to assist our highly skilled migrants.  He thrives on assisting New Zealand employers and recruiters finding solutions to bridge the skills gap across New Zealand in all industries.

Walt plays an important role in liaising with New Zealand employers and recruiters on the ground here in New Zealand to formulate international recruitment strategies while ensuring NZSID Candidate Managers locate and screen skilled migrants to match client recruitment briefs.

Walt has previously worked as a Senior Manager, Branch Manager and Regional Manager for one of the world’s largest multinational recruitment companies.  He holds a tertiary qualification that supports his sales background and HR and recruitment experience.  He enjoys ‘’Turning conversations into opportunities” by negotiating and promoting service with outcomes for candidates and clients being at the forefront. 

Walt also holds an NZRL High Performance Coaching Accreditation and with his experience in HR and recruitment, his philosophies in recruitment and sport complement each other. He has represented New Zealand in age group sides, including the Junior Kiwis, Kiwi Colts, Senior New Zealand Resident sides as well as playing professionally in the UK.

With a desire for investing in and developing people, Walt is a great addition to our great team.


Borey Chum – Immigration Consultant

Borey provides New Zealand Skills in Demand and its candidates and clients with specialist immigration advice relating to New Zealand. Borey is a fully licensed Immigration Adviser and has recently been appointed as the CPD Co-ordinator for the New Zealand Association of Migration & Investment.   Holding a Bachelor of Law and Art from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, Borey is a specialist in New Zealand immigration law, policy and procedure and is experienced in dealing with all types of immigration applications for private and corporate clients. 

Borey manages his own successful immigration practice, Migration Associates, in the United Kingdom where has lived for the last six years, with his immigration knowledge being highly regarded by clients and other professionals within the industry. Borey maintains a visible presence in the UK market and regularly exhibits at emigration shows and authors articles for UK emigration magazines. 

Borey is a proud Cantabrian with a vested interest to assist the Christchurch rebuild as his family still live in the city and his plans are to one day relocate back to his home town.
