Construction Site Foreman

New Zealand Skills in Demand are seeking a Site Foreman for a fantastic role at a well-established facility.
Key responsibilities
Implement project planning, management and quality control on site to meet requirements as defined by the Project Manager
Ensure construction programme, critical paths and key target dates are met
Schedule and prioritise construction sequences and maintain a two-week rolling program
Order materials required on site
Review drawings and documentation and advise Project Manager of any missing information
General admin such as controlling time sheets, purchase orders and inwards goods
Liaise with the Project Manager regarding all changes in design, scope and projects
Monitor and enforce Health and Safety on site
Ensure all rental equipment is accounted for along with all other tools and equipment
Be responsible for site security and minimising theft and vandalism on site
Liaise with relevant head office staff and village management as required
About you
Previous experience on large commercial and residential projects in a Foreman capacity
Hold relevant qualifications
Fantastic communication skills
Strong technical ability and attention to detail
Leadership skills and the ability to create an engaged team atmosphere
For the right candidate, salary would be between $36 - $40 per hour.
